Dear Everyone I Know,

Dear Everyone I Know,

Firstly, get out and vote tomorrow! It's the only way to directly tell the government how you feel and what you want.

But think about who you're going to vote for. This mayoral election is a tight race between Sadiq Khan and Zac Goldsmith. The polls have indicated clearly that no other candidate has a chance of getting in. So think very carefully. The question is, who you would prefer out of those two candidates?

Zac Goldsmith has run his campaign on racial division and fear mongering, telling asian Londoners that Sadiq Khan wants to steal their gold, and using Sadiq’s religion to imply he is a terrorist. His voting history shows he supports the tory cuts, and tax breaks for banks.

Sadiq Khan has campaigned on policies that would really benefit Londoners; a living wage, genuinely affordable homes to rent and buy (unlike the ludicrously priced tory ‘affordable’ homes), frozen transport fares, protecting the NHS in London and to increase opportunities for all Londoners.

Every vote counts in this election, so if you would prefer Sadiq to Zac, put him as your first choice. If you do vote for another party, put Sadiq as your second choice, this will likely still count.

We need something new in London. Boris has done nothing except put bank adverts on bikes. Now’s our chance.
